1. Our approach
This project is intentionally privacy-light. It does not include Google Analytics, advertising pixels, remarketing tags or social-media tracking scripts. It uses browser storage to remember your cookie decision and, only if allowed, simple interface preferences.
Important: If the publisher later adds analytics, advertising, embedded video, maps, chat or social widgets, this policy and the consent interface must be updated before those technologies are activated.
2. Cookies and local storage
A cookie is a small file saved by a browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that can retain a small value. The supplied website uses local storage rather than third-party tracking cookies, but the consent interface uses the familiar term “cookie preferences” for clarity.
3. Categories used
| Category | Purpose | Status in this release |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Remember the privacy choice and keep the consent panel from appearing on every page. | Always active |
| Interface preferences | Permit non-essential display preferences to be remembered locally. | Optional |
| Analytics | Measure audience behaviour or traffic sources. | Not included |
| Marketing | Advertising, cross-site profiling or remarketing. | Not included |
4. Managing your choice
You can reopen the settings panel at any time using the “Cookie settings” button in the footer. You can also clear this site’s data in your browser. Clearing storage will reset your choice and the banner may appear again.
5. External websites
Clicking an external link takes you to another website, including the official MUNCH website. That site may use its own cookies and consent platform. Its practices are governed by its own policies, not this one.
6. Future changes
The publisher must document every cookie, SDK or storage key introduced later, including provider, purpose, duration and legal basis. Non-essential technologies should not load before a valid choice where consent is required.
